Coping with Chaos

We all have a full life; lots going on at work, lots going on at home and then all the other drama/activity that surrounds us every day. We often develop our own coping strategies, and yet we still feel overwhelmed and end up burnt out.

I was catching up with my girlfriend recently and we were sharing all the busyness and overwhelm in our lives. During that conversation, we concluded that we would both ensure that, moving forward, we would make decisions that work for us in the moment. This would allow us to feel settled and gain a sense of peace.

It was a great reminder to me that in all the craziness of life we need to find a way to bring some peace to the chaos. This is important, as by deliberately inviting in peace, you can show up in a way that is less exhausting.
