What Stories Can Do

Becoming a Professional Speaker was a strong part of my vision for 2020… and then we all know what happened… Of course, the speaking industry was severely impacted.  I decided that the idea of becoming a professional speaker just wasn’t going to be something I could achieve this year.

Then, one day in mid-2020, I decided to have a look at my numbers just to see how much more work I would need to do in 2021 to reach accreditation, and to my surprise I had already done it.  I was able to qualify as a Professional Speaker in a period when opportunities were rarely available.

As I continue to navigate new circumstances and changes to my business, I am reminded that I just need to stick to my truth and let the unproductive stories that I make up, disappear.

✅ I realised I had changed my vision and goals, based on how everyone else was struggling

✅ I went back and reengaged with my vision

✅ I chose a new dialogue and story to tell myself

The new story that I have chosen for myself is, “I am a catalyst for change for my clients and their teams.”
