Around the home there are always things to be done, but when everyone is home at once, there seems to be even more things to do. When this happens, I have found myself saying Yes to things automatically and forgetting what I want to be focused on.
My solution has been to pause; to allow someone else to pick up the slack. When I say No – it always gives someone else an opportunity to say Yes. Some of us (me included) do default to Yes - and then wonder why overwhelm kicks in – forgetting that saying No is just as important.
I thought I would share this video as a helpful reminder for the week.
