Acknowledging Emotions

Ignoring our emotions doesn’t make them disappear, it buries them until they overflow.

When we don’t address what’s really going on, resentment builds. We get frustrated, not just about the original issue, but about everything else around us. That frustration can spill into unrelated situations, causing a domino effect of unproductive and sometimes hurtful interactions.

The truth is, acknowledging our emotions is not weakness. It’s a productive, powerful step that helps us break the cycle, respond intentionally, and restore balance.

Next time you notice yourself burying a feeling, pause. Name it. Feel it. Then decide how to move forward.
